I got home and my face was all teary everywhere because of the wind and cold. And I just took my boots off for the first time since like 8am (worked on project all. day. long.). And my toes are blue. Ho hum.

When it rains in the US, worms come out. They wriggle around and die.
When it rains in Israel, really big snails come out. They crawl around and don’t die. They’re really cool.
(That’s only in Haifa, I’ve NEVER seen those big ass snails in Holon or Tel Aviv. Actually, I’ve never seen them in Haifa either, I only see them in the Technion?)
Until you accidentally step on one and then you squeal and feel really guilty :(

From time to time one of the smokestacks burns with a flame from the oil refinery. And sometimes, it lights up the whole sky :)
This is more or less the view I had from uni a couple of days ago. It’s beautiful in its own way… And yesterday it was the lights minus the fire plus a red moon. SO AMAZING.
